Lafayette Street at El Camino Real; north to underpass
Immediately off of El Camino, Lafayette Street passes through a residential area; thus, it becomes an immediate 30 MPH zone.
This also begins an immediate and steep descent into a non-pedestrian railroad underpass.
First time a CHP peace officer was observed perched in a partially obscured niche … too late; just after accelerating around a road boulder.
There was also a Santa Clara rover shagging other speeders as well.
Try not to be harsh in here; they are working hard to prevent us from hurting ourselves.
