Lakeview School, on Plainfield Rd East of Lemont Rd
County Sheriff sits every school day at the school and nails anybody doing over 20MPH. I pass him every day on my way to work, and he /always/ has somebody pulled over.

I concur; 7:17 a.m. going the posted speed of 40 mph, the DuPage county sheriff pulled me over. Speeding in a school zone, a real big deal here in Illinois. I went to court with my lawyer and tried to get what is called supervision; if you do not get another traffic violation for 3monts, no violation shows up on your record. I had pictures showing that the speed limit is 40 mph except when a yellow flashing light is on, then the limit is 20mph. The deputy could not see any of the flashing lights from where he was sitting. Oh, and he said the lights go on by computer at 7:15 a.m. I have checked every day when I go past the school and no lights are flashing until 7:35a.m. The judge said no supervision for school zone tickets. What a rip. Of course I am going back to court in May. Wish me the best.
