Lark Ellen Avenue near Amar Road
Motorcycle cops (and sometimes patrol cars) hide right inside the visitors’ parking lot where the apartments are on the left (East) side of the road, if you are heading Southbound on Lark Ellen Avenue to make a left or right turn on Amar Road. Most of the time the biker cop hides behind the wall and you can barely see his or her white helmet through the railings, with the radar gun sticking out. It’s a smooth, winding way down which makes it easy for a lot of motorists to go beyond the posted 40 mph limit. Most of the time you’ll end up going at 50 mph easily without even noticing it.
There are times that after making a left turn on Amar Road, the cop would be hiding by the first small road you see on your left, on the other side of the road. The cop is harder to see in this location, but rare.
