LaRoe Road near State Route 17
This stretch of road is 4.2 miles long. Posted speed 45 mph. Every spring they unnecessarily mark it as "construction zone" (i.e. double fines) for men trimming trees, and reduce the speed to 30 mph. It’s nothing but a cash cow for the town of Chester. The crews use flagmen like they do across the state. But somehow they need to tie up four miles of road for months every year.
