If you’re turning off Chicago Road traveling west on Lincoln Hwy.,the speed limit drops at least 10mph and by the time you realize the difference in the speed zone, the police are on you from nowhere. I had a rookie cop tell me his boss told him to get out there and write him some tickets, otherwise he would let me go. Lincoln Hwy., is a highway, you wouldn’t expect a road speed limit to exceed a highway speed limit. Of course the speed limit for Lincoln Hwy picks up, but that speed trap is strategically placed in an area where Chicago Heights make a lot of revenue off unsupected motorist.
