Going South on Lithopolis Road speed is posted at 45MPH. Just past the Tri-County Medical Building is a sign saying reduce speed and 1/4 of a mile or less, just past Bye’s IGA / Post Office is a sign saying 25MPH. The Cruiser is sitting just past that sign and in my case pulled out behind me following me as I turned onto anther street which would clearly be 25MPH and I so reduced my speed to the appropiate rate. After a couple more minutes of following me he finally pulled me over and gave me the ticket for 35MPH in a 45MPH zone. This trap is known widely in the area, but I have not lived in the area and was unaware until after this happened. I have gone through Lithopolis many times in the previous few weeks but never noticed the 25MPH sign just the 45 and then the reduce speed signs. I paid the ticket and spoke to the clerk about the situation and the office in total was very relaxed about it.
