Yes, most certainly a speed trap if you are using this as the promoted alternative route to and from Stowe. The PD love to park in the church parking lot at night…….very hard to see in the darkened street. I love to blast them with the high beams on the way back from the pizza joint. Spot on about “no mercy”. Got a report from a resident down the road from Waterbury that got a huge fine while using that route on a weekend morning on his way to the mountain. Real nice way to treat a neighboring town resident.
