Located on Hwy 1 over the hill in St Charles before bridge
This speed trap is a total joke and the cop wasn’t even wearing a uniform, just a badge, gun and a camo shirt. The speed limit drops to 45 for about 1,000 yards or less then goes back up to 55. The sign is hidden in the turn before the hill and there is no time to slow down even if you did see it. The cop sits on the other side of the hill every single day and guns people coming as soon as they reach the crest of the hill. You can see the 55 mph sign from where you get pull over.

First, don't complain about your speeding because of how the officer was dressed. Take responsibility for your actions. 2nd, one sign is 3ft by 3ft & yellow the other is 2ft by 2ft & white. There are 2 at each end of the zone. You missed 2. Your the joke. If you pay attention you can slow down. One is 50 yds from zone & the other is 30 yds from zone. How much time you need? 3rd of all the avg speeding ticket they write is 19 mph over. That deserves a ticket. Come to the city council & listen to the reports. People should have to post how fast they were going over the speed limit. Get a life. If you dont speed you wont get a ticket.
