The regular speed traps are simply deterents put in place to appease local residents so that they see we're doing something on their behalf. I have lived right near this "speed trap" for the last 11 years and take louise down to oxnard pretty much every day and i dont EVER recall any officers ticketing here. So i am not sure how this is a speed trap or when it ever was. This site is gonna be a giant moot point, as the officer above me pointed out, now they know where we know the speed traps are. Defeats the whole purpose of a speed trap. This site was built to fail.
