Lyman St is illegally posted at 30 mph (should be 40 mph per Mass Highway – see illegal speedlimits on MA NMA site). Officers sit in various driveways around Westborough State Hospital complex between the public beach (about 1/2 mile N of Rte 9) and the Fisherman’s Access to Little Chauncy Pond ( about 1/2 mile S of Northboro line). Because cruiser is usually hidden in driveways, enforcement is covering BOTH directions of travel. Usually it is a non-rush hour daytime enforcement. 30 mph for this road is ludricous so it easy to be in violation of this illegal speed limit!!

The State Cops would do radar every week in front of the Sharp building, they just park across the street parallel to the road and wave you over after coming around the curve heading north or the town cops would back in across from the boiler room and get the cars heading south on Lyman, they also hide at the main entrance at Hospital rd
