M28 East from Harvey…10 miles to Sand River
Chocolay Twnsp Police will patrol in behind an oncoming car. By the time you see them , they have you. Notorious area known by locals. Whether driving East or West on this stretch you should stay at speed limit.

Yup, not only are the local police in on this but the State boys as well. Daughter got a ticket for 5mph over speed limit...really? 5 over??? She has never had a ticket so it isn't like she needed to learn a lesson, why couldn't they just give her a warning? On a Sat morning at 9am during nmu break she was the only vehicle for miles!! Don't care about the fine so much as the insurance company will punish you for 5 years because you went literally a few miles over. So she is taking the drivers improvement course that you can take once in a lifetime in Mich and will erase the points. All for 5 over?!! What a joke!
