Mack Avenue at St.Jean

On Mack Avenue between St.Jean and Conner is a railroad bridge.Detroit police in the white traffic cop cars catch speeders coming Westbound on Mack. They sit in the party store parking lot across St.Jean with the laser gun pointed up the bridge and catch speeders coming down the hill. The speed limit on Mack is 30MPH.Usually they are out on the weekends doing this as I have seen them doing it on Sundays.

Oh, they'll getcha both ways...I've seen the same crew on the eastbound side during evening rush hour, too. Dude sits in the McDonald's parking lot with his hood up, zapping folks with his laser. Then he's got four to six helpers writing the tickets. On the westbound side, I've seen 'em setup near lunchtime, too, during the week! The laser guy will occasionally sit on the uphill, behind the berm in that no-man's land south between Mack and the railroad tracks. If you're not doin' thirty at the crest of the hill, you'll accelerate enough to get popped.
