Madison AVE N. Just north of the roundabout

Bainbridge Island, WashingtonFeb 08, 20111 Comments

Officers will sit in their dark colored cars, to blend in with the parents dropping off kids, on the St.Cecilias church side of the road between 7:00am to about 9:00am and tag drivers going over 20mph in the school zone.
Use Highway 305 in the mornings to bypass this trap altogether.

Comments:
More recently (2019) they will sit in the entrance to Sakai Park. And sometimes in the North Western most parking lot of the First Church of Christ. And when there's no drop offs happening they will be in the main drop off lane in front of the high school. They can be found in the Sakai Park entrance mostly in the mornings but can be in the church parking lot and drop off lane pretty much all day. 305 is still a good bypass for this whole mess. Traffic is also horrible on all of Madison and on High School between 305 and Sportsman in the mornings.
