Main St in school zone

Schertz, TexasMay 27, 20120 Comments

Street in front of what was once Corbett Middle School (now closed) has been replaced by an "alternative School" and the school zone re-activated. I was stopped by a motorcycle officer who supposedly clocked me at 32 MPH during the noon hour. As required by Texas law I presented the officer with both my DL and CHL (concealed Handgun License) which he tossed into my lap, walked to the rear of my vehicle and returned with a ticket for $211 without further ado.
The officer seemed to be irritated by something…..possibly my CHL, Korea veteran license plates ???. I can only surmise, but since it was my first traffic ticket in over sixty years of driving, I’m somewhat ticked off by what I consider rude behavior by a supposedly professional officer.
