The Maryland State Police Barracks resides on the west-bound lane of Md State Rt 50 and speed traps are set up on Rt 50 for up to 5 miles in either direction both east and west bound lanes and some days patrolled by as many as 4 officers at once. Found there several days a week.

It's actually in the east bound lane.
Police most often sit along US 50 (Ocean Gateway) under the Route 90 (OC Expressway) overpass or in median at next roadway, Logtown RD either place has room for many cars. In the summer they are here everyday for several hours at a time. Often are at these two places in teams as the MD State Police Baracks in a mile or so east. Watch out from Whaleyville to Route 113. The Town Of Berlin Police sit near the overpass of US Route 113 (Worcester Highway) and will pop you if to go too fast just after passing the State Police Barracks.
