Main Street

First of all , Main Street in Island Pond does not resemble a street at all. Infact, Island Ponds Main Stret resembles a parking lot. Yes a Parking Lot ! It is at the intersection of Cross Street and parallels 105 (East Brighton Rd). It is basically a parking lot. This is a small paved area with parking spaces and there is a strip of stores and the Post Office. This strip is ONE WAY and poorly marked as such. I received two tickets on this paved strip. The first ticket was because I did not see the sign. The second was entrapment , the sheriff (he drives a blackcar) was parked in a manner as to block off the East Brighton Road exit. He waved impatiently at me to go the other way. I had no choice but to exit on the cross street side and then that dirty sheriff gave me a ticket. He verbally denied directing me away from the East Brighton Rd side. DirtyPool! A Scoundrel !
