Hampton has a new town policeman that is trying to earn his stripes. He is busting anyone that is over the 30mph speed limit through the main part of town. Be careful to watch for the signs because they are hard to see.

The new policeman is doing what he is getting paid for. The speed limit signs are visibly posted.
There is no such thing as a speed trap. If you are speeding you are breaking the law and the summon is well deserved.
Speed limit signs are posted for a reason. I like to "keep it simple stupid"......if you do the speed limit, you won't get pulled over. Simple as that! There's only 1 new Hampton Police Officer......not only does he have his stripes, he has his bars. He is in fact a leutenant since it was previously posted that HPD gives rank. FYI, this officer is far from a rookie just because he's new to the area, he has 30+ years in law enforcement. He earned those stripes a loooong time ago.
