Parked Sheriff stationary car on Main street perpendicular to Market/Great Plains Blvd, Chanhassen City. Cars traveling North are not visible to a COPS 90%
view is obstructed due to; shrubs, fences, curved road, and uphill topography.
The other 10 % is visible only for 10/15 yards on curved road.
It is impossible for car traveling over the speed limit 45 miles per hour to get a reading with a handheld “PRO LASER 3” , were the car is only visible to a cop for a fraction of a second.
Sheriff statement/comment; because of his training he can make visual estimate to the speed traveling in that location, aim the “Pro Laser 3” and verify the speed with that device in less than second.
