There are painted white lines on the Main Street intersection that the police monitor. The police sit on the North Street hill just out of view until it is too late and monitor traffic, especially late at night or early morning. Speed limit reduces from 35mph coming from the North to 25mph here and if you are over the 25mph you get a ticket.
