Main Street near FM 1709

Coming from Watauga north bound the speed Limit is 45 mph.Right before the pawn shop the rate of speed sign changes to 25 mph. this is a classic example of a SPEED TRAP.I work in code enforcement at the airport. You can fight this in court. When you come into a town or business or residential area the speed limit should break down by 10 mph or even 5 mph. How the city of Keller got it approved is beyond me. Main street is a state hwy. The law states the speed limit cant drop like that due to possible causing accidents.Look it up if you dont believe me.

False: I drive this route 3-4 days a week. The speed limit drops to 35mph not 25mph. The sign is on the SW corner of Pecan and 377. Sorry! The wierd part is most drivers don't reach 45mph till they reach that sign and then only slow to 40mph.

I drive this route at least 3 times a week. That's correct the speed limit drops only to 35 mph once you enter what they call Old Town Keller.
