Speed limit lowers from 35 to 25 and they sit on the right just before you get to the post office. This allows them to laser you as soon as you pass the speed limit sign.

Comments:
This is definitely a speed trap. I received a ticket here a couple of weeks ago and the officer stated I was going 41 in a 25 but she would reduce it to 39 as a courtesy. My cousin just told me that he received a ticket in April from an officer that used the same wording....41 in a 25 reduced to 39 " as a courtesy." The fine is $132! What a scam. I know a lawyer would cost more than the fine but I do think I am going got make my court appearance. What I don't know is if that will end up costing me more. Anybody else in this same boat?

Same thing just happened to my son, 41 in a 25 minus the part of it being reduced to 39mph. His fine is a whopping $268!!! I'd love to know what happened in the cases of fighting it vs. just paying. Anyone know the distance it is to the lower speed limit sign from the crest of the hill when it becomes visible?
