Speed limit drops to 20mph, signs are posted behind trees, city refuses to move signs or cut trees

Comments:
I grew up in poplarville in the 1970s and the tressel was a famous speed trap. But the speed limit under the tressel was 30mph then. I was pulled over for doing 31mph. Laughable at best, but one of the many reasons I no longer live in MS.

Oh, yes.. Poplarville MS have more than a speeding trap going on. It's a common method they use to write bogus tickets. I saw an patrol suv on the opposite side of the road with out any headlights, park lights on at 10pm, that is putting other drivers in jeopardy sitting on side of an hwy with absolutely no lights on and you are less than two feet from the actual hwy. I was traveling on hwy 26 and the speed limit was 45mph and, I was traveling 49mph. The officer pulled me over wrote me a ticket stating I was traveling 51 in a 35.. This is a illegal and a unjustly way to write false tickets because u have a little authority. . This is a well known trap in this area..
