This street is in Rossmoor, an unincorporated area of Orange County. But, Rossmoor is a prime target for all the local police, i.e. Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, County sheriff and believe it or not the CA Highway Patrol spends a considerable amount of time here too. This has come about because the group known as the Rossmoor Homeowners Assoc. ( which is not a true Homeowner's Association) wanted to win an election to incorporate, created a bogus issue, namely police protection. The California highway Patrol was invited into the area and their cars can be found in the parking lot of Rush Park where the RHA arrranged parking, and , coffee. The officers love ticketing in this are because 1. it is an affluent community and most of the residents would rather pay than lose a days wages in court. 2. There are numerous places to hide your patrol car if you need to obtain your quota for the month. Stop signs are numerous as this is a residential community. Parking in the Rossmoor shopping center is a favorite for giving tickets for failure to stop and the speed limit which is 25 miles per hour like all residential districts does have a few place where 35 miles per hour is legal.

Maybe the author of the previous comment doesn't have children! Regardless of the affluent nature of the residents in Rossmoor, it isn't safe to cross the streets in the early evening and early morning, while speeding residents often exceed 35 mph and then roll the stop signs without looking. Parking tickets aside (we are talking about speed traps here), if you don't want to pay traffic tickets, don't bread the law! Our (read my) children's lives are at stake!
