Maine-4 (North Berwick Side)
Coming in to town from North Berwick, the speed drops from 55 to 35 at the golf course, So. Berwick Police will sit near the cannons around the large corner and on the side of the road. Also the speed once again drops from 35 to 25 and follow this speed exactly. I have been with people doing 27 that got a ticket.

This is not a speed trap. It is well posted and has been the site of many accidents, including death, in the past. The police are merely doing their job by monitoring it at various times because many people, unfortunately feel they are exempt from the law. What's wrong with just driving at the speed limit? Hang up the cell phone and pay attention to your driving and you'll be fine!
