Mamaroneck Avenue near Gedney Way
The speed limit is posteed at 40MPH for a long way. During school hours there is a 2 block area that has unusual signs up high on telephone pools that say school district speed 20mph. As soon as you pass these 2 blocks you are pulled over by troopers who are waiting.

This is NOT a speed trap. There are clearly posted signs with warning lights when the school zone speed limit is in effect (25 MPH) If you're caught, it's your fault! I have people blowing past me at better than 40 MPH when the limit is 25 MPH. Not cool as there are lots of kids in the area and plenty of buses and cars with kids turning.
