Maple Avenue Extension Avenue near State Route 29-A
Coming out of Johnstown on Maple Ave Extension heading into the Hamlett of Meco which is at the junction of Rt-29-A towards Caroga Lake.
When you come down Maple Ave Extension the speed limit is 55 then 35 as you drive through Meco to the 4 way stop at the school and volunteer fire station. As you round the final corner towards the 4 way stop a cop sits in the school parking lot with radar. It is usually a trooper or a sheriff. The troopers are known to sit at night looking for DWI’s and will stop you even if you do 40.
