The use of the Wells Fargo's sidewalk by the motorcycle cops is a violation of California Vehicle Code 21663. I have seen the motorcycle cop almost ran over a young mother pushing a stroller with two children in it--to get off the sidewalk and chase down a motorist.
The cops use an excuse to rationalize their violation of law--but they have been beat in court on this one.
