Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard near Interstate 40
I haven’t been stopped here, but I see plenty of folks pulled over (at least four or five times a week, sometimes more). The speed limit on this portion of MLK Boulevard (formerly Airport Road) is 35, which is absurd. A safe limit that far out–between Estes and 40–would be more like 45.

I am from out of state and don't know if this is the same road or not but the citation says Chapel Hill and New Statesdie Drive. On June 9th, 2010 I came off of I 40 to get gas...on I 40 it said that there was 3 service stations., so WE pulled off and looked for these stations...after driving about a mile down the road decided to turn around and get back on I 40 for the next exit...as I approaced an intersection and turned right to turn around a cop pulled me over and told me that I was speeding...maybe I was going a little over the limit but he told me that I was going 63 in a 35...I said you have got to be kidding..and he said no...that is what he clocked me at...Usually when I drive any distance I put my cruise control on and wouldn't have put it on for 63 miles an hour. I asked where I could pay the fine etc...he said that I couldn't but that I had to appear in traffic court. I told him that I lived in another state over 1000 miles away...to make a long story shorter, when I arrived home a few days later I find in my mail box...letters from 10 lawyers wanting to represent me in this matter...SPEED TRAP IN CHAPEL HILL? YOU be the judge!
