Marylan Avenue near Radio Station WHAG

Hagerstown, MarylandDec 09, 20071 Comments

Police hide just south of end of small patch of woods on west side of road near railroad yard just past WHAG building. Cars coming over small ridge at much over 35 mph (posted limit)are stopped. Sometimes, police set up just north of WHAG in depression made by same ridge. The speed limit northbound had been 40. Police cite cars not slowing soon enough. Usually in dark hours – evening or early morning – when police cars are harder to see.

Comments:
I haven't seen them working this area in a good while, and we transit this all the time. Thank goodness it is City and not County, because it would give the overactive Sheriff's Dept working Halfway Blvd who can't find enough parking at the empty lot by the mall an extra place to gather cars for their chat sessions.
