This isn't a speed trap, it's a red light "trap". The police sit at all the lights along Mass. Ave looking for people that run red lights here. It's a densely inhabited neighborhood with lots of children and two school zones.
I've seen drivers run lights here with kids 1/3 of the way across the road in the crosswalk.
Frankly, if you run a red light here..you deserve what you get.
