McAlester Avenue near Renfro Road
McAlester from Renfro to I35 W the speed limit is 30 MPH and the city police love to sit in the side streets and issue tickets. Traffic is picking up on McAlester now that all the new retail is growing by I35 and the number of tickets are growing as well.

McAlister Road is through a completely residential area. Besides the homes, there are 3 parks and a school. It is a neighborhood where people walk, bicycle with kids, and walk their dogs. There are no retail establishments located on McAlister. The police are there at the invitation of the homeowners who are concerned for the safety of our neighbors and children. We pay them to catch people who would endanger our community for their own convenience.
