Prior to Lumberton – heading northbound – speed limit drops to 65 mph. Radar usually set up in a stand of trees in median – speed limit sign is only posted once about a mile before Lumberton. Very lucrative cash cow for this town.

Got caught at this one today - 80 in a 65. It's actually closer to Rowland and NC-130. You can see the line of trees in the median on Google maps. The speed limit is 70 for hours prior to this point - as soon as you cross the SC/NC border, it suddenly drops to 65 and those sleek looking gray Dodge chargers are hiding in the trees. It'll cost you over $200 bucks.
