Medical Center BLVD.

Webster, TexasApr 23, 20021 Comments

This is a four lane divided highway and the speed limit is 30 MPH all the way. I see Webster Police every morning and evening rush hour. There is also school zone just east of the railroad tracks. Speed limit there drops to 20. The school is well seperated from the road and there is little need for the limit to be this low. 30 mph would be low enough. This entire road is one big speed trap to catch commuters during rush hour. Many commuters take this route to and from NASA and its contractors.

Comments:
A VERY old report (2002). The limit on this street (Med Center Blvd) was raised to 40 several years ago, but the school zone exists (a private school), so watch for cops. There are no lights to warn you, and the school zone also goes up the side street, Sarah Deal Drive.
