Merritt Boulevard near Towards Rt. 9
Road feels straight and flat but the speed limit is 30 and you will be ticketed for anything over 30. Town Police and State Troopers monitor the whole steet as it is a cut through. Many tickets issued daily.

Four 2009 NYSDOT studies show the speed limit should be 40. I've written to Supervisor LaColla and am awaiting a response. A saw strips on the road (village section) which are used to take traffic counts. Hopefully it'll further convince town and village politicians to re-evaluate the SL.
