Speed traps in Montgomery County are specifically geared towards law enforcement sitting at the bottom of hills or slopes so they can ‘catch’ (wow, what a job) motorists who don’t stand on their brakes as their car increases speed via gravity when going down a hill. This is one of those locations; a curving slope with a patrol car at the bottom. They ‘hide’ the bulk of their cruiser behind a electrical utility shed just beyond 270 onramp and use radar or laser to catch you there…if you see them as you come over the hill be sure to get into the far right hand lane and get on 270S to avoid getting tagged because they have no way of turning around quickly enough to get you without driving directly into oncoming traffic).
