Milton Way near 18th Avenue

School zone begins at Triangle Park and ends at 28th Avenue. Police sit in parking lot of church at curve in the road and wait. Enforcement is constant during school transport hours.

Comments:
Yes, this is definitely a speed trap. They have the blinking yellow light on the uphill side of the road at triangle park, so when you come on Milton way from the top of triangle park, at 15th St, you look downhill to the left and are unable to see the blinking yellow light on the other side of the telephone pole. So when you go to the right, you are unaware that it is blinking and may be going the speed limit, 25 mph...as you round the corner, at 18th, the police pull out and ticket you! It happened to me - I took pictures to prove it was a trap and I was unable to see the warning light, as I seldom drive that way during school hours and didn't realize it was activated. The judge agreed that yes, they have had several similar complaints about this, but since it is a school zone they were unable to reduce the fine or contest it. It is very much a speed trap and they even acknowledged the fact!
