Kaumakani High School Road approximately. 1/4 mile. It parallels Hwy. 50 aka Kaumuali hwy. mm 19 westbound passing the school on the main road has a valley (dip) where it is easy to gain 7 mph. Naturally Slowing at the crest. 40 is a natural speed. Hidden by scrubs – grass 3-4 feet high, Hiding, the lying in wait police. It a cheap shot speed trap as most are. It is a Barney Fife of Mayberry, giving tickets to truckers gaining momentum to climb the mountain. It’s a 35mph that turns to 50mph less than 100 yards away. It hard to hold at 35 w/o wasting fuel and brakes. The opposite direction is slowing from 50mph to 35mph. I complained to the mayor. Have not seen them there for a while.
