There’s often a Holyoke cop at the top of this very long hill from Easthampton up the mountain sitting at the entrance to Mt. Tom Reservation. Why, I have no idea, since it’s pretty hard to speed going UP the mountain, but he’s there none the less. All of 141 between Cottage St. Easthampton through to I-91 is 35mph. Oddly there’s never any Easthampton cops around, even at the bottom of the mountain where there’s a very convenient place where they COULD camp. I know myself and many other people tend to go 55 downhill. Just watch out for the last curve and don’t even think about doing it in the winter. 😉
