N. Santa Fe near Eaton Way

Busy main street in the morning also has an elementary school on west side. Motorcycle police use speed guns to monitor traffic coming north past school. Drivers must go 25 miles per hour while students are walking to school at 7:30 – 8:15. There is a small, easily missed sign (no blinking lights). Police usually have 2 or 3 cars pulled over at any given time, writing out tickets. They park in the appliance center right before Townsite Drive. Too many drivers have passed me in the slow lane only to get pulled over.

Comments:
this as well as all the other posting of speed traps in Vista are not traps. People in Vista just drive very fast. I am very familar with all these streets as I have lived here for over 40 years. The motorcycle sherrifs use a radar gun and it is accurate. Your speeding. Plain and simple. Slow down. I'm not a cop, I,m a long haired bearded harley riding scumbag that cruz vista daily. Stop signs, speed limits, mean nothing here. This is not just the large immagrent population but the well to do in shadow ridge, school teachers, city council, lawyers, moms, everyone, its crazy. There is a car crash every 2 hours all day every day. Chillout do the speed limit, don't be drunk or high, have reg. and lic. and you got no problem with Vista cops, they got a lot more to do than to set up speed traps. So say I, Matt ,Vista local since 1968.
