The yellow light is very short - about 3.5 seconds. If it’s drizzling or been raining out in Florida you don’t want to slam on breaks and risk sliding or crashing. This light should have at least 5 seconds on yellow. 3 seconds is not enough time to stop and they are getting $158 for every car that gets snagged at this light. I’m a safe driver with excellent driving history. I don’t run lights but this one got me and the car next to me. We didn’t even have time to hit our break lights. Ridiculous. The timing on this light needs to change to 5-6 seconds to be more reflective of what’s appropriate for a 4 lane divided highway and intersection. But clearly safety is not the #1 concern here, revenue is. This is wrong.
