This intersection is a "No Right Turn on Red" Intersection!
Kirkland’s finest like to sit in the parking lot of the medical offices on the corner 50 feet west of the light and give you the $124 violation when you make that turn against the red light.

This is not a speed trap, but there needs to be more Kirkland PD there. I have seen numerous times of vehicles coming to a stop and then turning anyway even with the double signs that state no turn on red. There have been a lot of near misses with vehicles turning when a bus is coming from the transit center on their green light. Also, saw a near t-bone accident of a person in a Range Rover turning north on 120th in front of a Cadillac SUV that clearly had the right of way, the Range Rover driver was on her cell phone and didn't even acknowledge that she almost caused a serious accident as she turned in front of the Cadillac. I get lights flashed at me or horns honking or both when I am stopped and following the signs that say no turn on red.
