On Hwy. 72, there is very often the Hollywood, Alabama city policeman in the median, sitting there with his radar gun. He’ll catch traffice going east or west.

Hollywood has little or no business to provide for their town needs, especially since Bellefonte Nuclear Plant has dried up. They have hired a young police chief who has determined the way to make money is to stay on Alabama Highway 72 and write tickets. When you go to court you are charged an additional $20 on court costs. The judge is from Birmingham and it kind of looks like they won't dismiss any tickets for any reasons. I agree most tickets are legit, but this town of a several hundred people is writing a lot of tickets.
