near the high school

Richmond, MichiganOct 03, 20021 Comments

There is a car wash right across the street of the high school, and they love to sit in one of the car wash stalls and watch there radar. The speed limit there go’s down from 55, to 25, and 15 when school is in, or letting out.

Comments:
The speed drops from 45 to 25. It is not and has never been 15 in front of Richmond High School. It has always been 25 MPH there, 24/7, 365 days a year for years. I recently found out that the superintendent of the school sets the speed there, not the cops. When you see the cops sitting there when school is starting or letting out, that's because they're working crossing guard. The real speed trap is when you're headed west out of Richmond, the speed doesn't hit 45 until you get past Medilodge (by the EMS). You will get nailed in there, if the right person is working.
