New Boston Rd near Rt 20

There is no speed limit sign on the entire road and yet the ticket I received was marked ‘speed as posted’.
It is enforced under the ‘if it is not posted – it must be 30 mph’ maxim., however, other roads leading to this road ‘are posted’ with 40 mph, so judging by the last sign you may have seen, you may falsely believe you are driving appropriately at the ‘posted speed’. (Don’t bother explaining it to the judge). The fact that I was under 40 mph and was on my way to the hospital (I even had my outpatient bracelet on) didn’t keep them from ticketing me.
Police have a convenient ‘hiding place’ just off the road that can not be seen from either direction until it is too late. This trap is conveniently located a half mile from their barracks so it is easy picking for them.
