New section of I-26 from Tennessee line – particularly near the rest area on long downgrade
State trooper working this section almost continuously. Speed limit is 55 on a three lane Interstate. Nothing but a money-making racket routed to court in Marshall. Compare to reasonably set 65 mph limits on the old Saluda grade section of I-26 above the South Carolina line. Wonder if the state pension fund has bought stock in a brake lining manufacturer?
