My daughter got a $54 ticket this morning using New St to go to Brookdale College. I guess she is supposed to wait at the corner light for 20 minutes in an attempt to turn left. I used that road for years and was always lucky. The cop was in his 50's and kept saying stuff like, I could give you more, you should be happy, blah blah..... First of all, she wasn't speeding so what did he want her to say? Was he looking for sexual favors? Secondly....there were cars passing her doing the same thing but he singled out the young good looking female. I don't call cops Pigs because we have many friends who are cops but it is obvious what this cop is looking for.....my daughter is smart and didn't say a word....as he guiltily mentioned that the ticket is no points, etc. She pays her own car insurance so this is very important. Well, all I can say is that the road should be open to everyone, it is a public access road and I am sure that everyone, including Mr. Cop uses it as well to enter other roads in the township. I have never seen a child waiting in the road for the bus anyway if that is the reason. Maybe they should close it off and make the few people that live on that road go all the way around.....You buy a house on a busy road and you have traffic...dah The cops in Colts Neck could better serve the people by going to the traffic light and getting out of their cars to direct traffic between 7 and 9.....Make yourself useful and work for that money that the taxpayers are paying you....or better yet ride around the neighborhood and catch some of these people from other countries who have made it their job to rip off our homes and take our valuables that we have worked for all our lives......

Wow! You souind so angry! Did the Police Officer actually ask for sexual favors (were you there?) or is your imagination running away from you again? Either way, obey the law or pay the price. By the way. to ease your little mind, the Police Office WAS working for the tax dollars YOU pay. He was writing your daughter a ticket for breaking the law.

Classic example of an over protective mom and her daughter can do no wrong . Drivers continually speed on this road many who are using it to cut through to avoid traffic lights with no regard of people with small children living on that road . Your "can do no wrong driver" was in fact wrong and the officer was right to stop and ticket your daughter . As for the other people doing the same thing while your daughter was stopped, what wasthe officer to do let ur daughter go and then go after the others ??? Obviously the officer is there because there is a need since somany are making illegal left turn. I commend the officer and as for over protective mom, start teaching your daughter how to drive instead of finding fault for a police officer just doing his job!!!
