New York-15A in Village North of New York-5 & U.S. Hwy. 20

Very often in restaurant parking lot west side of street early AM or late PM.

Comments:
There is another trap that the Livingston County Sheriff also uses frequently which is more egregious than the "north trap." It is in the same route 15A but is just south of the main village. The cops sit in a vacant pizza parlor parking lot which has a partially obstructed view of southbound traffic coming out of town. This is right at the edge of the built up part of town, ahead one can see a prominent speed limit 55 sign and the beginning of farm fields. It is definitely a rural setting and a natural place to pick up speed as one exits the town build up. They have an unobstructed view of north bound traffic coming into the village and most people in this direction are slowing down approaching the village. This is a fair location however the stopping of southbound traffic leaving the village is definitely a trap and is unfair in my opinion.
