Newport Boulevard near VIa Lido Street
Usually two motorcycle officers wait in a parking structure entrance near the intersection of Newport Blvd. and Via Lido. They also hide in other areas but this is the most common place. They wait for someone to run a red light which happens frequently.

There is a no U turn sign at that intersection, and those motorcycle cops are also looking for U turn offenders.
