Nob Hill Boulevard near 64th Avenue
Yakima police love the area on Nob Hill between 48th and 64th Ave. The speed limit was changed from 40 to 35 in 2001 in anticipation of a Wal-Mart store going in. The store has yet to go in, and there is no logical reason to have it at 35 mph, so naturally the police hang out at the top of the hill underneath some large trees. I’ve seen motorcycle, marked, and unmarked cars at all times of the day.
