North King Street South of I 64 overpass
Speed limit going south on King Street changes from 35 to 30 at overpass. Police cruiser sits in field on right hidden by overpass and trees. Drivers who are doing 6 miles an hour over speed limit get nailed for going over 10 mph over and hefty ticket if they inadvertently don’t notice new sign. This spot is frequently used by Hampton traffic officers as it generates max revenue for little effort. Also 30 mph speed limit on this part of King Street makes no sense.
